The Briar School of English was founded in 1958 and since then has provided English tuition to students aged 12 – 25 years, from all parts of the World. Our school is situated in the very pleasant seaside town of Lowestoft on the East coast of England.

Our group classes are suitable for all levels of ability and cater extensively for the grammatical and conversational needs of each student. The classes are generally multi-national, with a maximum of 15 in each. Classes are taught in an English State High School, enabling the students to experience life in an English school with the benefits of utilising both the excellent facilities within the classroom and outside it.
