If the idea of descending the piste to arrive at your hotel still wearing your skis is appealing, then Aprica is the place to be. Lying on the vast plateau known as Valtellina, between the provinces of Sondrio and Brescia. Aprica is very near to the Swiss border and surrounded by the unspoilt alpine landscape of the Stelvio National Park. Imagine skiing in an area where you can see deer, chamois, rock goats and foxes! Back in the busy and compact town, your group can enjoy a visit to the traditional shops, café-bars and restaurants where they can sample the excellent pizza and pasta dishes. |

The Palabione, seen as the skiing cradle of Aprica, is located in the centre of the mountain resort (1180-2300m). Magnolta is the most recent, and is situated on a knoll located at an altitude of about 2000m. All three ski areas offer an excellent choice of skiing for a group with varying skiing abilities. To arrive at the summit of Aprica, a well linked selection of lifts takes you through the scenic area - a true skiers dream! |
